About CIW
Covenant Applied Informatics and Communication Africa Centre of Excellence (CApIC-ACE), a World Bank-funded Centre of Excellence in conjunction with the Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria organize the maiden edition of the Covenant Innovation Week, 2023 from Tuesday, November 21st to Thursday, November 23rd , 2023.
The theme for Covenant Innovation Week, 2023 is Innovate 360° : Navigating the future. Covenant Innovation Week is a three-day professional development symposium aimed to bring together academia, public and private sectors, innovators and creative minds to stimulate innovative mindsets in Covenant University students and other participants.
It will feature keynote speakers, innovation quests, interactive workshops, networking opportunities and innovator awards. Covenant Innovation Week, 2023 will inspire, enlighten, and spark curiosity among the participants of all age groups.
Our Vision
The vision of Covenant Innovation Week (CIW) is to stimulate and enlighten participants towards an innovative mindset in research and recovery
Our Mission
The mission is to provide a platfform for participants particularly youths and professionals to show case their inventions, educate, collaborate and equip them with knowledge and skills for innovation and entrepreneurship mindset
Our Objectives
The objectives of the covenant innovation week are to showcase and celebrate innovation in research excellence.
- Raise public awareness about innovation in research and its benefit to society.
- Create opportunities for research collaboration and networking.
- Facilitate posssible startups on reserch innovation.
